Installation Terms and Conditions
All deliveries and installation are to ground floor. If you have different requirements or access is not straightforward, please contact us before ordering.
If your installation requirements are different to those covered by our terms and conditions, please call us on 01298 812122.
Freestanding Cookers
Electric, Natural Gas, LPG & Dual Fuel Cookers
This does not include range cookers (see below).
Conversion of cooker to LPG (where applicable)– additional £20
Please note that cooker installation is only available when replacing an existing freestanding cooker and we only install to existing connections.
As part of this service, we will:
- Disconnect the existing appliance
- Unpack your new product, remove and recycle the packaging
- Connect the new appliance to existing gas or electric supply
- Provide a new gas hose where applicable
- Level and fit neatly in the space
- Remove the old appliance for recycling if selected at checkout
Before ordering installation, you should ensure that:
- Your appliance will fit into the existing space
- There is easy access to the existing pipework
- Ensure you have the appropriate electrical supply for your chosen appliance
What we do not do:
- Make any alterations to existing electrical connections.
- Connect the appliance if it puts the fitter or customer at risk.
- Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines or manufacturer’s instructions
Freestanding Range Cookers

Built-In Electric & Gas Ovens, Electric & Gas Hobs
Conversion of hob or oven to LPG (where applicable) – additional £20
Please note that oven and hob installation is only available when replacing an existing integrated or built-in appliance of the same size and we only install to existing connections.
As part of this service, we will:
- Disconnect the existing appliance
- Unpack your new product, remove and recycle the packaging
- Connect the new appliance to existing gas or electric supply
- Provide a new gas hose where applicable
- Level and fit neatly in the space
- Remove the old appliance for recycling if selected at checkout
Before ordering installation, you should ensure that:
- Your appliance will fit into the existing housing
- There is easy access to the existing pipework
- Ensure you have the appropriate electrical supply for your chosen appliance
What we do not do:
- Make any alterations to existing electrical connections.
- Connect the appliance if it puts the fitter or customer at risk.
- Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines or manufacturer’s instructions
- Make any alterations to worktops
Freestanding Appliances
Freestanding Washing Machines, Washer Dryers, Tumble Dryers, Dishwashers and Refrigeration (excluding Americans).
Please note that this service is only available when replacing a like-for-like appliance.
As part of this service, we will:
- Disconnect the existing appliance
- Unpack your new product, remove and recycle the packaging
- Connect the new appliance to existing pipework or electric supply (13 amp plug-in only)
- Level and fit neatly in the space
- Remove the old appliance for recycling if selected at checkout
Before ordering installation, you should ensure that:
- Your appliance will fit into the existing space
- There is easy access to the existing pipework
- Your stop valves are working correctly (for connection of any wet appliance)
- Uninterrupted access to pipework from where the appliance is sited
- There is sufficient access for ventilation tubes (tumble dryers)
What we do not do:
- Make any alterations to existing plumbing or electrical connections.
- Alter appliance doors
- Connect the appliance if it puts the fitter or customer at risk.
- Plumb two waste pipes into one waste connection
- Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines or manufacturer’s instructions
Integrated Appliances
Integrated and Built-in Fridges, Freezers, Fridge-Freezers, Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Tumble Dryers.
Please note that this service is only available when replacing a like-for-like appliance.
Built-in refrigeration has either fixed metal hinges or plastic sliders. If you do not choose correctly the engineer may be unable to install your appliance as these are specific to your current installation and are not always interchangeable.
Integrated appliance installation includes 1 hour of labour. Any additional labour will be invoiced separately. Please contact the store for more information if required.
As part of this service, we will:
- Remove the plinths and panel door of your existing appliance
- Disconnect the existing appliance
- Unpack your new product, remove and recycle the packaging
- Connect the new appliance to existing pipework or electric supply (13 amp plug-in only)
- Level and fit neatly in the space
- Fit the existing panel door to the new appliance
- Remove the old appliance for recycling if selected at checkout
Before ordering installation, you should ensure that:
- The existing panel door is in a suitable condition to be re-fitted
- Your appliance will fit into the existing housing
- There is easy access to the existing pipework and electric supply
- Your stop valves are working correctly (for connection of any wet appliance)
- Uninterrupted access to pipework from where the appliance is sited
- There is sufficient access for ventilation tubes (tumble dryers)
What we do not do:
- Make any alterations to existing pumbing or electrical connections
- Alter appliance doors
- Connect the appliance if it puts the fitter or customer at risk
- Plumb two waste pipes into one waste connection
- Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines or manufacturer's instructions
American Fridge Freezer
Freestanding American refrigeration
Please contact the store for delivery, installation and disposal costs of American Fridge Freezers
Cooker Hoods
Cooker Hoods can only be installed if purchased at the same time as a range cooker. Please contact the store for installation and disposal costs.
Failed Connection Charge
If a connection fails because the customer did not inform us of any reason why it may not be successful or because the customer did not comply with the reasons mentioned above, we reserve the right to make a failed connection charge
