Local Delivery 

We operate our own delivery vehicle within a 12 mile radius of Chapel-en-le-Frith, SK23 0HZ.  

Postcodes included are: 

  • Hope Valley: S32, S33 
  • Stockport: SK2, SK6, SK7, SK12 
  • Macclesfield: SK10, SK11 
  • Glossop: SK13 
  • Buxton: SK17 
  • High Peak: SK22, SK23 

Where a customer resides outside of these postcodes we recommend contacting the store on 01298 812122 or  info@bywatersales.co.uk to discuss the delivery options. 

Standard Delivery Terms 

All deliveries are to ground floor. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure there is adequate access to the property and the room where the appliance is to be delivered. If you have different requirements or access is not straightforward, please contact us before ordering. 

Please note that if you have not paid for installation and you require us to take away your old appliance, you must make sure that it is fully disconnected and out ready to take away. If you have paid for installation, we will do this for you.

Prices for all goods do not include delivery unless otherwise stated. All prices quoted include UK VAT at 20% where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse orders. 

Delivery Timescales 

Bywaters will endeavour to deliver all purchased goods within a window of 3 days. Bywaters will contact all customers after a sale has been made to confirm the delivery details. 

Failed Delivery Charges 

Where a pre-arranged agreed day has been given for delivery and we are prevented from delivering the goods due to there being no one at the address, or we are unable to make the delivery for other reasons you may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge. This also applies if you cancel a delivery after the goods have been loaded onto the van for delivery to you 

Damaged Items 

Although rare, from time-to-time items are delivered which have either been damaged somewhere in transit between the factory and your home, or which are faulty in some way. Please don't install any damaged items, but instead contact us within 48 hours, together with a photograph of the damage if possible. We'll arrange for a replacement as soon as possible. We will supply products that are in conformance with this contract and nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights. 

Faulty Items 

If your item is faulty, you should notify us immediately. We are happy to offer you an exchange or a refund within 28 days of purchase or delivery. If more than 28 days have passed since purchase or delivery, we may be able to repair your faulty item, provided it is still within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from purchase). Please bear in mind, we don’t offer exchanges, refunds, or repairs if your item is faulty due to accidental damage, neglect, misuse, or normal wear and tear. 

Unwanted Items 

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receipt of the products, without giving a reason. All we ask is that you let us know within 7 days, and that the item is 'as new' (you haven't used or installed it), and that it's undamaged and complete with all the accessories and original packaging it arrived with. You have a duty of care while the products are in your possession and we reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred during this period. We reserve the right to apply re-handling charges for returned items under some circumstances (see full terms and conditions for more information). Any return carriage charges will be at the customers’ cost.
